Accessibility Statement

Diversity. Inclusion. Accessibility. We believe everyone should be able to engage with Arq Group. Ultimately we want all users of our website to be able to access information and interact with us – including when using assistive technologies such as a screen reader, voice recognition, or magnifier.

Need help?

Call us on +61 2 9215 6111 or email us at maketing@arq.group if you have difficulty accessing any feature or functionality on this website or any other Arq Group communication. We can provide the information you need in a format that is accessible for you.

Accessibility features

Text equivalents : Where images, videos and other visual content appear on the site, we have added explanatory alternative text (Alt Text) and captions in most cases.

Page structure : Pages are structured with meaningful HTML code and clear content hierarchy (such as headings, lists, paragraphs and other formatting features). This enables assistive technology to understand and process the content, so that visitors can more easily use the arq.group site.

Keyboard Access : We have not defined any access keys as common assistive devices already specify many key combinations and we do not wish to interfere with these.

Contrast : We have considered colour contrast in our choice and use of colour throughout the site, to support the accessibility of images and text. This may, however, vary from time to time, particularly where text appears over an image.

We’re not perfect

While we strive to provide a fully accessible site, some pieces of content may not have all of the accessibility features we would like. However, through frequent reviews and optimisation of our site and its content, we endeavour to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, the international standard for website accessibility.

Feedback

We’re always looking for ways to improve our accessibility, so please contact us if you have any feedback or suggestions as to how we could do better.
